It's that time of year again....grass is getting greener, the days are growing longer and summer time is almost here! The best part of summer for me is no schedules! We stay so busy during the school year that when summer comes, it is a relief to be able to stay put, enjoy each other and take the stress out of driving kids everywhere!

Our kiddos love to camp, but sometimes the thought of packing everything up and heading out into the wilderness can be pretty overwhelming. So the other night, we found the perfect solution for everyone...camping in our own backyard. The kids wanted to watch a movie and have some camping treats.

I tried to think of the quickest and easiest solution to make it all happen and happen fast! I grabbed my Samsung Galaxy Core Prime (which just so happens to be on rollback at Walmart for $79.92, down from $99.92) and remembered that I had a free new release monthly movie rental through VUDU ($7 savings right there). Oh shoot, what about data?!?! Sidetone: I hate worrying about data!! Also I had about 5 whole minutes to come up with a yummy snack for everyone. I quickly popped some popcorn and then grabbed this giant bag of Swedish Fish, which happens to be on rollback for $4.48 and dumped them right into the popcorn bowl! Actually I don't think it even took me more then 4 minutes make it! Those are the best kind of homemade treats, am I right?

Getting everyone to decide on a movie is pretty much impossible sometimes, but it was a unanimous choice with Star Wars.

(reg $25, now $19.88) There is a Walmart Family Mobile Display located in the electronics section and employees are there ready to help people set up their phones! Not to mention my kids loved the free samples they reps had on hand right there in the store. It's a total errand bonus!

My "homemade snack" didn't last long with little fingers! I am so glad I decided to go with the bigger 1.9 lb bag. And the new design? Love it! The new packaging even says "New Look Same Fish." Swedish fish are a staple at our house for nights just like this.
